Nate Patten, Vocal, Acting, Piano
Nate Patten is a Toms River, New Jersey, native who has lived in New York City for the past fourteen years, but just relocated back to Jersey. Nate has experience as a Broadway music director/conductor/pianist. He's conducted a handful of shows on Broadway, most recently the Tony nominated "The Prom" and "Be More Chill." He was the music director/conductor for the original Broadway production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and right before Broadway was shut down in March, Nate was playing piano at "Ain't Too Proud: the Temptations Musical".
In addition to Nate's theatre career, he has quite a bit of teaching experience: both master classes in New York for years, as well as teaching acting, piano, and voice at Pace University and St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Nate loves teaching and is excited to join the staff here at MMDA teaching Vocal, Acting, and Piano private lessons!
