Ryan Wiemken, Clarinet, Saxophone
Ryan Wiemken is an active performer and educator in the greater New York-New Jersey area. He attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where he studied clarinet with Jessica Phillips.
He has performed with New Jersey State Opera, New York Youth Symphony, National Collegiate Wind Ensemble, Rutgers Wind Ensemble, Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Nova, Rutgers Saxophone Ensemble, Kean University Wind Ensemble and the Metropolitan Festival Band. He has also performed with various pit orchestras playing a wide range of music for community theaters and high schools across the state.
As an educator, Mr. Wiemken has taught clarinet and saxophone students of all ages and abilities; from the beginning elementary student to the student preparing for college auditions. He is currently a band director at Verona High School in Verona, New Jersey.
