Christina (Brown) Ritter: Dance Director
Christina (Brown) Ritter has been a dancer since the age of three, a dance instructor for over 13 years, and with MMDA since the beginning! She has taught numerous dance classes at our studio including a “Unique Kids” class for students with special needs, Foxy Ballerinas, Mommy and Me, and many more. Christina graduated from West Chester University with degrees in both Elementary Education and Dance. She received her Special Education certification through Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. In college, Christina was a member of the WCU Dance Company and led the WCU Dance Team. She performed at the American College Dance Festival and competed at Universal Dance Association’s National competition all four years, ranking top ten in her competitive division. After college, Christina danced professionally for the NJ Devils Hockey Team, was the resident choreographer for a theater company based in Asbury Park, and the Wall High School and Wall Intermediate School musicals. Outside of the dance world, Christina is a first grade special education teacher where she strives to incorporate movement into all aspects of the school curriculum. She is so thrilled to be the Dance Director for MMDA!
